Advantages and Disadvantages of Woven Fabrics
Weaving is relative to knitting. Woven fabrics are woven by interlacing the warp and weft of the yarn in the form of a loom. Woven fabrics include cotton and linen silk wool, chemical fiber and blended fabrics, etc. Woven fabrics are widely used.
1、 Advantages of woven fabrics:
The fabric surface of woven fabrics is relatively flat, the fabrics naturally drape without sagging, the fabrics are firm and easy to dye and process, and various printing and dyeing methods are applicable. Woven fabrics are mainly used in garment production, and are suitable for washing and dry cleaning. Clothing maintenance is also relatively simple. There are not as many precautions as suit maintenance. The most important thing is that the price of woven fabrics is relatively cheap.
2、 Disadvantages of woven fabrics:
The overall elasticity of woven fabrics is not as good as that of knitted fabrics, so the fabrics may be inclined in warp and weft, which is not conducive to the processing of fabrics by garment factories.
