How to Protect Babies from The Sun?

In adults, excessive sun exposure can lead to skin cancer, premature aging, and more. For babies, excessive sun exposure is a risk factor. So when you take your baby outdoors, don't forget to provide them with adequate sun protection.

The sun from 10 am to 3 pm is the most ferocious, and this is also the time you should avoid going out to protect both your baby and yourself. But at the same time, this is also the time when your baby wants to go out the most, and you don't want to prevent your baby from participating in activities other than games, so all you can do is to prepare for the sun.

1. Protective clothing

Apply sunscreen to all exposed skin, but protective clothing is also a must. BabyClothesWholesale's baby protective clothing has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Index) of 30 and above, which can effectively protect your baby from the sun's rays.

2. Hat and Sunglasses

Bring your baby a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses often. Choose cute and delicate baby sun hats so babies will love to wear them. Always seek shade when outdoors, take an umbrella to the beach, and pay special attention to water as it reflects UV radiation.

3. Sunscreen

Look for sunscreens with broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. Both types of rays have the potential to cause skin cancer. Don't be fooled by a larger SPF number (sun protection factor). Aim for anything with an SPF of 30 or higher, but avoid anything with a value above 50.
